Raymond Weil debuts at Watches and Wonders

This April, the Geneva-based company will be taking part in Watches and Wonders for the first time. Established in 1976 and managed by the founder’s grandson Elie Bernheim, Raymond Weil belongs to the privileged circle of independent family businesses. For three generations, the company has pursued its development and consolidated its status as one of the jewels in the Swiss watchmaking crown.

An inexhaustible source of inspiration and creation for the company, music and the arts represent guiding thread running through all its international partnerships. Renowned artists, famous music brands, iconic concert halls and foundations supporting the arts are all now associated with Raymond Weil.

With more than 45 years of experience behind it, the Maison cultivates the watchmaking skills and expertise carefully acquired in Switzerland over the centuries. Precision, quality, reliability and technical materials are the keynotes of a philosophy that has earned it the coveted Swiss made label.

Raymond Weil has enjoyed continued success, developing in a market segment that continues to expand despite geopolitical, economic and social uncertainties, not least because the brand cultivates a balance with mechanical watches (70% of its sales by 2023). Equipped with the RW1212 Manufacture movement, developed in collaboration with Sellita, the Freelancer collection has been a resounding success and is the brand’s best-seller, with some 80,000 timepieces sold in 2023.

The new Millesime collection, which won the Challenge Watch Prize at the 2023 Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève, symbolises the fresh creative spirit driving Raymond Weil. Various innovations are in the pipeline and will be revealed at the end of the year.
