Watchmaking at the summit

The Le Locle brand is proud to have unveiled last June the Tissot T-Touch clock which is installed on the “Peak Walk by Tissot”, the first suspension bridge in the world to connect two mountain peaks.

It is located on Glacier 3000 in Les Diablerets, a destination particularly popular with visitors.

In keeping with its motto “innovators by tradition”, Tissot is known the world over for its hi-tech models capable of withstanding the most extreme climates and conditions. Incorporating special materials and advanced functions, the T-Touch is a faithful friend of mountaineers and allows direct access to a multitude of very practical touch functions. Following the same design, the clock installed on the summit indicates the time and altitude to intrepid adventurers on the bridge.

As its history shows, Tissot has a close relationship with the Swiss Alps and has great respect for the determination that takes climbers to the summits of the highest mountains. Keen to provide access to the public and an exceptional viewpoint, the watch manufacturer joined forces with Glacier 3000, who built the bridge. The Peak Walk by Tissot offers visitors an outstanding panoramic view of the Matterhorn, the Mont-Blanc massif, the Eiger, the Mönch and the Jungfrau. An unforgettable excursion accessible to all.
