Following the relocation of HYT to Neuchâtel, Vincent Perriard (CEO of HYT) announced plans to integrate watchmaking workshops on the new premises on a gradual basis, in order to ensure independence and technical expertise. With this in mind, HYT recently signed a partnership with Dominique Renaud, who will run the brand’s Luxury Watchmaking department and special projects.
The start-up will be geared to watchmaking professions and the production line, whilst at the same time introducing groundbreaking industrial innovations. Patents are in the process of being registered thanks to active collaboration with Preciflex, an HYT partner which is exclusively developing its hydro-mechanical modules.
Dominique Renaud, in collaboration with Luiggino Torrigiani, currently manages his own eponymous company which designs, manufactures and markets innovative timepieces. In 1986, in partnership with Giulio Papi, he established the well-known firm Renaud et Papi, before breaking all links with the company in 2000.
