Patek Philippe + Fluckiger & Fils - Creation Of Cadrans Fluckiger SA

Faced with a situation preventing it from making major investment and concerned by its future at a family level, the company Fluckiger & Fils SA, based in Saint-Imier and currently employing a 70-strong workforce, has decided to seek the support of an outside partner.

Considering the level of expertise attained by this firm and the reputation of its products (top-of-the-range dials and pointers for dials) and firmly resolved to promote the Swiss production of watchmaking components and the corresponding jobs, Patek Philippe has decided to offer its support.

A new company called Cadrans Fluckiger SA will therefore be created shortly in Saint-Imier. It will take over the equipment, tooling and order book of the existing Saint-Imier firm and, where possible, retain many of its employees.

The company Cadrans Fluckiger, which will be run as an activity independent of the Geneva based manufactory, will continue to provide a service to all clients in the watchmaking sector, under the responsibility of Vincent Cour, the present Managing Director of Fluckiger & Fils.
