On 8 June in Zurich, the brand presented the Montblanc de la Culture Arts Patronage Award to Henry Levy, a resident of the German-speaking Swiss city and owner of the BINZ39 gallery.
This non-profit institution provides young artists with a work space free of charge for a period of two years, allowing them to develop their art. BINZ39 also organises exchanges between Swiss and foreign artists.
Delphine Favier, Managing Director of Montblanc Suisse, presented him with a copy of the limited edition "Patron of Art Peggy Guggenheim" - a collection of writing instruments to which a new edition is added every year - as well as the sum of 15,000 Euros for a cultural project chosen by Henry Levy.
The Montblanc de la Culture Arts Patronage Award was founded a quarter of a century ago. In sixteen different countries, it rewards patrons who support and encourage art in all its forms. This is the second time that the distinction has been awarded in Switzerland. Every year an international jury - which includes the well-known Swiss writer Joël Dicker and the industrial designer Nicolas Le Moigne, both of whom were present in Zurich - selects the lucky winners.
