Long-distance alliance with marathons

As part of its new strategy, TAG Heuer has teamed up with the world’s greatest marathons, including the TCS New York City Marathon, the Bank Of America Chicago Marathon, the BAA Boston Marathon, the BMW Berlin Marathon and the Schneider Electric Marathon in Paris, as well as events in Oslo and Moscow.

Through these new partnerships, the brand focuses on a discipline which has been relatively unexplored to date. It also highlights the message of its new advertising campaign: «Don’t Crack Under Pressure».

Marking its presence in the world of the marathon allows TAG Heuer to reach an international audience of all ages. For example, the TCS New York City Marathon alone attracts more than 50,000 participants, with around 2.5 million spectators lining the side of the route. Marathons therefore represent a real opportunity to promote the brand’s visibility and obtain maximum benefit from sponsorship.
