In collaboration with Mark Streit, Breitling has set up the Transatlantic Flyers Club comprising eight Swiss ice-hockey players who have booked their passage to the National Hockey League (NHL). The brand welcomed them to the world of aviation by organising a programme of flights packed with thrills and excitement.
The Breitling Transatlantic Flyers - Reto Berra, Raphael Diaz, Jonas Hiller, Roman Josi, Nino Niederreiter, Luca Sbisa, Mark Streit and Yannick Weber - were presented with the Emergency Night Mission watch as a welcome gift to their own aviators’ club. It is the first wristwatch with an integral distress marker, a safety and survival instrument indispensable to professionals and adventurers. The NHL players will henceforth attend a variety of aviation events and share in the public’s fascination for all things aeronautical.
