Omega launches its collection of sunglasses

Omega has launched its very first collection of sunglasses for men and women.

Developed in partnership with the Italian Marcolin Eyewear company, these products feature many aesthetic and technical details that make direct reference to the watchmaking brand. For instance, the floral theme of its jewels, the iconic claws of its Constellation watch, the flexible hinges resembling the crown of a timepiece, the brilliant black finish reminiscent of the ceramic material used for its Dark Side of the Moon collection or the injected metal frames which take their inspiration from stainless steel.

This collection also proposes a classic model commemorating the Rio Olympic Games, made in an edition of just 2016 copies. Each pair of Omega sunglasses is presented in a rigid case decorated with zebrawood, a subtle reminder of the interior design of the firm’s boutiques.
