Dial manufacturer launches hour-markers production

La Chaux-de-Fonds-based dial manufacturer Quadrance et Habillage (QH) has launched the production of hour markers. The project is made possible by its partnership with Vaucher Manufacture Fleurier (VMF).

The production line is based in Fleurier, on VMF premises. Some of the existing infrastructures, along with dedicated equipment, ensure the production of small, medium and large series of appliques. Internal resources were favoured in order to create a complete production unit, from first draft to galvanic treatment. This approach gives greater flexibility to timings.

The production methods offer great suppleness in terms of the quantities and form of the appliques (flat, faceted or logoed hour markers, etc.) For smaller quantities and tailor-made pieces, laser machine production provides optimum results while for large quantities, swage cutting is offered.
