LVMH acquires minority holding in Repossi

At the end of November, LVMH acquired a minority holding in the capital of the Italian jewellery house Repossi, established in 1920 in Turin, which has made its mark as an exclusive and highly creative luxury jeweller.

The company is famous today for its iconic Berbère collection and its multipiercing earring.

Today the fourth generation runs the family business in the person of Gaia Repossi, with her father Alberto Repossi, grandson of the brand’s founder. She has been the company’s Artistic and Design Director since 2007. Her creations bear witness to her determination to modernise the brand’s DNA with references to modern art and contemporary architecture, using resolutely new manufacturing techniques.

The two firms decided to establish links to allow Repossi to speed up development of its distribution network and take advantage of the managerial know-how of the world’s leader in high-quality products.
