At its thirteenth economic event, the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services (CCIG), the Department of Security and the Economy (DSE) and the Office for the Promotion of Industry and Technology (OPI) presented the 2015 Innovation Award to Qualimatest, an expert in automated quality control solutions and a member of the QMT group.

Such systems are becoming increasingly important in the world of industry. Indeed they allow considerable gains in terms of time and reliability in the process of fault identification.

This Geneva based SME is best known for developing the QMTSubFace in collaboration with EPFL. This initial system capable of retaining certain human criteria in visual inspections is particularly sought after in watchmaking circles.

Qualimatest offers a comprehensive range of products which in many cases are integrated in client applications (OEM) with high added value. The firm works with its global client base to incorporate industrial visual inspection stations. From the high-frequency control of medical pipettes to the sorting of foodstuffs, its fields of application are very varied.
