The Bienne-based brand has entered into a new partnership as the titular sponsor of the Swatch Beach Volleyball Major Series. For several years now it has been supporting action sports like beach volley.
The new major series comprise six tournaments, including one in Gstaad. Already familiar with this tour, the town in the Canton of Bern hosted the third competition from 7-12 July last.
The members of the Swatch Proteam, Nadine Zumkehr and Joana Heidrich (Switzerland) together with Clemens Doppler and Alexander Horst (Austria), took part in the event and will appear again in the remaining tournaments.
The Swiss watchmaker also partners Swiss Volley to support young hopefuls through the Swatch Newcomers program and a new award: the Swatch MVP (Most Valuable Player).
