News On 7 October this year, IWC Schaffhausen brought together a host of stars including Emily Blunt, Christoph Waltz, Mick Jagger, Stephen Fry, Julie Walters, Thomas Kretschmann and Moritz Bleibtreu at Battersea Park in London, a luxurious urban oasis situated on the banks of the River Thames, to celebrate the launch of a three-year partnership with the BFI (British Film Institute), the United Kingdom’s main promoter of film culture, and the BFI London Film Festival in collaboration with American Express. The event provided further proof of IWC’s growing commitment to the world of cinema. An evening programme of comedy and entertainment began with the presentation of a series of photos by Peter Lindbergh, «Timeless Portofino», produced for the launch of the Portofino Midsize collection.
In 2015, in the capacity of main sponsor, IWC will support Luminous, the BFI charity gala celebrating British cinema and its talents and raising funds for the BFI national archives.
